About the Farm

National Integrated Agriculture Research Council (NIARC) is dedicated to strengthening Indian agriculture through scientific research, innovation, sustainable farming practices, and farmer capacity building. The Council works towards promoting agricultural excellence by collaborating with farmers, researchers, educational institutions, government agencies, and industry experts to develop practical solutions that improve productivity, food security, and rural livelihoods. NIARC functions in compliance with the applicable laws and policies of the Government of India and strives to support national agricultural development initiatives.

NIARC promotes collaborative research and knowledge sharing with agricultural universities, forestry and environmental science institutions, horticulture colleges, veterinary and fisheries institutions, research laboratories, and national and international organizations working in the fields of agriculture and sustainable development. Our initiatives focus on crop improvement, organic farming, soil health, water conservation, precision agriculture, climate-smart farming, integrated farming systems, agri-technology, and farmer entrepreneurship. Through research projects, training programmes, seminars, workshops, technology transfer, and international cooperation, NIARC strives to build a resilient, innovative, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem for India.
