The Council is committed to developing future-ready agricultural systems by promoting advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, drone-based farming, Internet of Things (IoT), precision agriculture, hydroponics, aquaponics, protected cultivation, renewable energy, and smart irrigation systems. NIARC also supports policy research, agricultural entrepreneurship, women and youth empowerment, capacity building, and knowledge exchange to create a resilient, inclusive, and globally competitive agricultural ecosystem that benefits farmers, rural communities, and society as a whole.
